Atomtrace: A Journey of Innovation and Growth

In June 2023, Atomtrace embarked on a groundbreaking project in collaboration with the Technology Agency of the Czech Republic (TACR), marking a significant milestone in the company’s journey of innovation. With the support of TACR – the Seal of Excellence under Sigma Project (if you missed read more at https://www.atomtrace.com/news/launching-new-project-a-trace/ ), Atomtrace received a substantial subsidy of 25 million CZK to develop its revolutionary A-Trace device, propelling the company into a new era of technological advancement.

2023: A Year of Progress and Achievement

The year 2023 proved to be transformative for Atomtrace as it dedicated itself to the development and refinement of the A-Trace device. Leveraging the funds provided by TACR, Atomtrace’s dedicated team commenced the development process on July 1st, 2023, with unwavering determination and enthusiasm. Throughout the year, Atomtrace made remarkable progress in the development of the A-Trace device, a fact reaffirmed by its industrial partner Maxion (if you missed read more at https://www.atomtrace.com/news/innovating-automotive-maxion-wheels-partners-with-atomtrace-on-the-a-trace-project/ ) during review sessions. While specific details remain confidential, the overall trajectory of the project promises a bright future, with Atomtrace poised to fulfill its ambitious goals. In January 2024, Atomtrace successfully submitted its 2023 report to TACR, anticipating additional funding of apx 12 MCZK to further propel its mission forward. The company’s development team continues to make strides in both ongoing business orders and new projects, signaling a relentless pursuit of excellence.

Funding from TACR’s SIGMA Programme to Revolutionize the Mining Industry

As a part of our mission to bring science to industry, instead of just automation with our partner Maxion and others, we also continue to work in the mining segment. The project which started on October 1st, 2023 (if you miss read more at https://www.atomtrace.com/news/atomtrace-a-s-secures-funding-from-tacrs-sigma-programme-to-revolutionize-mining-industry/), has already yielded promising results, shaping our strategy for this segment. Although the project will close at the end of March 2024, the results have already been applied to new developments. As a part of this success, we have been recognized by partners from EIT RM as leaders for LIBS technology, solidifying our position as a reliable and strong partner for the biggest and most challenging developments in the mining segment.

2024: Looking Ahead to Future Endeavors

As Atomtrace looks to the future, it remains committed to pushing the boundaries of innovation and exploration, especially in the mining sector. Exploration of critical raw materials in deep land deposits (RIA) It is our honor to inform you that a consortium of leading European companies plans to build a new innovative technology under the program Exploration of critical raw materials in deep land deposits (RIA), HORIZON-CL4-2024-RESILIENCE-01-01. Atomtrace is proud to be a part and leader of the LIBS technology section. The project, named SUSPECT, requests funding of 5 MEUR, which is 100% guaranteed by the EU. Over the past few months, Atomtrace’s project management team has worked closely with a consortium of companies across Europe, including Finland, Germany, Poland, Greece, and others. The new experiences gained by the Atomtrace team have been highly appreciated by the project leaders, and we have received positive feedback several times. This marks another significant milestone for our startup as we move forward, cementing our reputation as a leader in the field.

Revolutionizing the Mining Industry to Continue

The promising results of our developments in the mining industry ensure that our projects are not just for fun, but for real industry implementation. After internal discussions and coordination with our partners in the mining industry from Greece, we decided to apply for additional funding of 1 MEUR at EIT RM, call – KAVA 12, a significant step forward in our journey within the mining segment. Through the utilization of LIBS technology, Atomtrace aims to revolutionize the industry, introducing new products and avenues for growth.
