Preparing for Japan – with Cultural and Business Insight

As we gear up for our participation in EXPO 2025 Osaka, it’s not just about showcasing our innovative technology – it’s also about understanding and respecting the culture we’re stepping into.

Last week, we had the pleasure of welcoming Mgr. Lenka Vyleťalová, Ph.D., MBA to AtomTrace for a tailor-made workshop focused on Japanese cultural, ethical, and business norms.

The session covered everything from the art of exchanging business cards and appropriate forms of address, to understanding subtle social cues, decision-making processes in Japanese business culture, and how to build mutual trust and long-term relationships.

The experience was genuinely refreshing and enlightening. Our team came away not only with valuable insights but also with a renewed sense of enthusiasm for engaging with our Japanese partners in a respectful and meaningful way. We now feel better prepared to represent ourselves on the global stage – professionally, confidently, and with a mindset grounded in openness, respect, and cultural sensitivity.
