AtomTrace Sets the Stage for EXPO 2025 with CEO’s Successful Business Mission to Japan
Our CEO, Jan Proček, has successfully returned from a business mission to Japan, which took place from February 8 to February 14, 2025. As part of an official delegation led by the President of the Senate of the Parliament of the Czech Republic, Miloš Vystrčil, the mission aimed to strengthen business relations between the Czech Republic and Japan. The mission proved to be highly productive, opening doors to new business opportunities for AtomTrace as well. The mission was also a very important step ahead of the upcoming EXPO 2025 in Osaka and AtomTrace’s presence there.
Throughout the mission, the delegation took part in 2 key business forums, the Czech Republic – Japan Business and Investment Forum 2025 and the Czech-Japanese Business Forum, which both were personally inaugurated by H.E. Miloš Vystrčil. The delegation engaged among others with representatives of major Japanese trade organizations, including the Kansai Bureau of Economy, Trade, and Industry, the Osaka Chamber of Commerce and Industry, the Kansai Economic Federation, and the Japan External Trade Organization (JETRO). The focus was on strengthening economic cooperation and unlocking new business opportunities between the two countries. Naturally, EXPO 2025 was one of major points of focus, with the event set to take place in less than two months.

Together with the President of the Senate of the Parliament of the Czech Republic, Miloš Vystrčil and the Czech Commissioner General to the Expo 2025 Osaka, Japan, Ondřej Soška, Jan Proček also visited the EXPO 2025 Osaka site, where the Czech National Pavilion is taking shape. As mentioned by ČTK, AtomTrace has been preparing diligently for this event. Meeting with our appreciated partners during the mission to ensure that the company’s presence at the Expo will not only showcase its cutting-edge innovations but also proudly represent the Czech Republic on the global stage, was one of the AtomTrace’s targets in the mission.

As the President of the Senate of the Parliament of the Czech Republic, Miloš Vystrčil aptly stated, “Japan is a key and stable political and business partner for the Czech Republic in the Indo-Pacific region. I am convinced that our cooperation can be fruitful, as Japanese perfectionism and attention to detail combined with Czech creativity and adaptability is exactly what connects us and can lead to great success.” We at AtomTrace share this belief, and through exceptional events such as EXPO 2025, we are ready to showcase our innovative technology to the Japanese market, forging strong, fruitful partnerships with companies in Japan and thus creating opportunities for mutual success.
You are all most welcome to visit the Czech Pavilion at Expo 2025 in Osaka and join us for the incredible events organized by AtomTrace, which will take place throughout the entire duration of the Expo. We also warmly invite you to the final event of the #road2expo series, which will be held in Prague on March 13, 2025—exactly one month before the grand opening of Expo 2025 in Osaka.
A heartfelt thank you to the Senate of the Parliament of the Czech Republic, President of the Senate Vystrčil and his team; the Chamber of Commerce of the Czech Republic, Vice President Jakubský, Eva Langerová, and their team; the Czech National Osaka Pavilion, Commissioner General Soška and his team; the Embassy of the Czech Republic in Tokyo, Ambassador Klučař and his team; as well as our valued partners from JETRO, CzechInvest, and CzechTrade. A special thanks also goes to our dear colleagues and partners accompanying the mission for their participation and support in this event and journey.
